Master Science Silverlakes provides extra physical science tuition for grade 10 to 12 learners. Our tutors and lessons help learners make their science education a success. Ons wetenskap ekstra klasse is volledig tweetalig.

We started our first Master Maths Centre as a mother (Bettie van Straten) and daughter (Sorita Groenewald) owned business in 2006 at Silver Lakes Golf Estate in Pretoria East. Since then we have experienced great success by increasing our learner’s marks and changing their perspective about Maths and their future.

We started with the Master Science programme in 2012 and experienced that there is a high demand for additional science tuition in South Africa. We develop and inspire young scientists t. by giving them the self-confidence to excel in science. We show our learners that science is fun and also inform them about the opportunities that good science marks can create for their future.

At Master Science Silverlakes we created an environment where you child will experience an academic atmosphere and where he/she will learn to ask questions and to be able to study independently.

“Ek is Anneliese Ahrens.  Ek is meestal die een wat die kinders se werkkaarte merk en as nodig uithelp met ‘tutoring’.  Ek sien hoe belangrik die basiese kennis van tafels asook optel en aftrek is.  Dit word ‘n ongelooflike hindernis as kinders dit nie onder die knie het nie.

Ek sien hoe die kinders wat met die Mastermaths program werk se selfvertroue verbeter as hulle volhou met konsekwente werk en hulle in hulself kan glo.  Hulle leer ook om onafhanklik te werk en besluite te neem.  In my tydjie by Mastermaths het ek menige kere gesien hoe kinders die vrugte pluk van hul harde werk.  Dit is my motivering en rede om by Mastermaths betrokke te wees.”

“Ek is ‘n wetenskap en wiskunde tutor en merker by Master Maths. My grootste rede hoekom ek ‘n tutor is, is omdat ek ‘n passie het vir die vakke en ek geniet dit om studente te kan help en leer. Die rede waarom ek by Master Maths spesifiek werk, is omdat ek die geleentheid het om studente van alle ouderdomme te help en dit hou my op datum met die basiese beginsels van die 2 vakke. Ek dink die Master Maths sisteem werk baie goed, want die studente leer die beginsels van ‘n spesifieke onderwerp in die modules en dan het hulle die geleentheid om hulle kennis op die onderwerp te toets deur om die werkkaarte te doen. As hulle onseker is oor sekere dinge of wil dalk net bietjie meer weet oor ‘n onderwerp, dan is die tutors daar om hulle te help.”
